From the end of June 2016, the following changes in Companies House filing requirements will come in place. The changes are:
To complete the confirmation statement you will need:
To check the information that Companies House hold on your registered office, directors and location of registers. If changes have been made, a separate form will need to be filled before filing your confirmation statement.
To check and update, if necessary, your shareholder information, statement of capital and your SIC (Standard industry classification) code.
To check and confirms your record is up to day.
Pay the £13 fee to file online, or the £40 to file by paper.
You can update your records as many times as you need, but you’ll only be charged once per year. For most companies this will be the first time you will notify Companies House of your people with significant control. New companies will have to provide this information on their incorporation documents.
Companies House will send email alerts and reminders to confirm when the company’s statement is due.The due date is usually a year after the incorporation or the date when you last annual return was filed. The confirmation statement can be filed up to 14 days after the due date.
